A Rare Jewel in the Teaching of Dharma
Lama Lekshe is an ordained Buddhist nun bringing three decades of practice and a distinctive approach to sharing the profound wisdom of the Karma and Shangpa Kagyu lineages.
Her journey began with early encounters with Buddhism in Tibet, followed by dedicated study in Nepal, India, and the United States. She has practiced under the guidance of revered masters including Bokar Rinpoche, Khenpo Lodro Donyo, and her root teacher, Lama Michael Conklin.
Lama Lekshe has over with thirty years of practice and training with three main traditional teachers as guides. As an Ordained Buddhist Nun with lifetime commitment to dharma service, she has been authorized to teach for over twenty years in Buddhist communities. She is a Three-Year Retreat Graduate (2014-2018) in traditional Shangpa Kagyu methods, and holds Multi-Tradition Experience including residence at Great Vow Zen Monastery.
Before dedicating herself fully to dharma teaching, Lama Lekshe served as a university educator and international consultant to post-secondary learning organizations, bringing systems thinking and educational expertise to her dharma work.
Lama Lekshe demonstrates that together we can cultivate authentic practice that honors our lineage while meeting the needs of contemporary practitioners. The dharma is vast enough to welcome every sincere heart.
