Generosity sustains us.
In Buddhist tradition, teachers depend upon the generosity of the sangha for the needs. Donations are often called dana — the Sanskrit word for generosity. Dana takes the form of anything offered for the support of a teacher, such as food, clothing, medicine, land or shelter.
Here at Dekeling, with a wish for people to awaken, we offer these teachings freely. Still, it costs money to make the teachings available. For this, we rely on generosity.
May we all accomplish our highest wishes for the well-being of people, the planet, and all beings, in a spirit of ease, joy, and love.

Legacy, Securities, or Other Gift
Consider how you might leave a legacy extending beyond this lifetime. One method of planned giving is to remember Dekeling in your will or trust. Other options might be securities, annuities, or designating Dekeling as a beneficiary on one of your life insurance policies. You will want to discuss bequest language with your financial advisor or lawyer. If you’d like to leave a legacy gift, donate securities or material gifts of land, art, etc. please contact Dekeling’s Treasurer Sandy Pollock by email.

Sometimes such a gift is an expression of gratitude for a specific act of service by the teacher, sometimes it is a general wish to support the teacher’s ability to continue their work and practice of benefiting others.
