The Poetry of the Bodhisattva's Way

Online Only

4 Thursdays, August 6, 13, 20, 27
6:30-8:30 PM PST

Led by George Draffan

The path of the bodhisattva embraces compassion and wisdom, faith and devotion, creativity and skillful means. Some of the most powerful sutras and meditation manuals are composed in poetic verse. Through chanting, contemplation, meditation, and discussion, this four evening series will explore poetry from Indian and Tibetan texts that have inspired readers for centuries to awaken mind and heart and cultivate the bodhisattva qualities of generosity, discipline, patience, enthusiasm, meditation, and wisdom.
