White Tara Sadhana Practice Weekend

Among the many expressions of enlightened activity, White Tara manifests as the luminous wisdom that protects life and reveals the indestructible clarity of mind itself. Her seven eyes perceive the suffering and potential of all beings, and her boundless compassion restores balance to the elements of body and awareness.

To engage in her sadhana is to enter a direct relationship with awakened presence—to draw upon the inexhaustible vitality of compassion and to dedicate that strength to the welfare of all beings.

White Tara is revered as the embodiment of enlightened activity expressed through the radiant energy of compassion and long life. Her practice is treasured across all Tibetan traditions as a profound method to remove obstacles, extend life, and cultivate the innate clarity of awareness.

Unlike worldly longevity, the life White Tara protects and nourishes is the awakened continuum of wisdom and compassion—the unbroken thread of bodhicitta that sustains the path for the benefit of beings. Through mantra, visualization, and meditation, practitioners merge their awareness with hers, purifying obscurations and revealing the mind’s natural brilliance.

During this two-day gathering, we will:

- Receive concise instruction on the meaning and stages of the sadhana, emphasizing the union of method and wisdom.

- Engage in guided sessions of visualization and mantra recitation.

- Reflect together on White Tara as both deity and mirror of our own luminous nature..

This program is open to those who have received the White Tara empowerment (wang) from any qualified teacher.
