The Concise Practice of Chenrezi

The Concise Practice of Chenrezi

Hybrid Online and In-Person Course.
Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (lunch break 12-1)

Chenrezi is the embodiment of compassionate mind. Join us at the Vicarage for a teaching and practice session of Chenrezi, in the abbreviated form. No experience is necessary, we’ll practice with very brief instruction woven in as we go.

Chenrezi practice helps one cultivate compassion, bodhicitta, and wisdom. Benefits include purifying negative karma and obscurations, increasing positive qualities, attracting blessings, receiving protection. There are many Chenrezi practices. This one was offered to us by Khenchen Rinpoche.

This practice includes chanting, visualization and mantra. No empowerment is needed. All are welcome. No experience is necessary.

Each person will receive a new text. Bring paper for taking notes. If you’d like to have lunch, bring it with you. We’ll take a lunch break mid-way that includes tea, complements of the Green Tara practice group.

To register, click here. Please note that if you wish to receive class materials and the Zoom link the day before the class, you must be registered 24 hours prior to the event.
