DDSP - How Dying Works: The Stages of Death
Despite the certainty of death, most of us carry only vague, unexamined ideas about what it is. In this class, we’ll explore death through a clear Tibetan Buddhist lens.
This course walks through the traditional Tibetan Buddhist understanding of the dying process—from the exhaustion of lifespan through the dissolution of the elements—exploring the physical, energetic, and mental experiences that unfold.

In 2026, Dekeling will be offering dharma training devoted to understanding the practices, concepts, and skills related to death and dying as spiritual practice. Anyone interested in knowing more about this program is invited to this orientation session.
